W. R. Allison Dies at 90
William Riley Allison, 90, died at 4:05 p.m. Thursday at the home of a son, Claude Allison, in the Dysartsville section of Nebo Route 1.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Old Fort Baptist Church by Rev. Elbert Harding.
Burial was in Old Fort Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ann Allison; five sons, Lee and Raymond Allison of Old Fort, Ralph Allison of Marion Route 4, Claude Allison of Nebo Route 1, and Ray Allison of Hickory; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Calloway of Melbourne, Fla.; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
