Funeral Saturday For Mrs. Hollifield
Mrs. Laura Jean Hollifield, 58, wife of Carl Hollifield of Clinchfield, died in the Marion hospital Thursday morning.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the home of a sister, Mrs. Roy Jenkins, at Clinchfield.
The Rev. J. E. Floyd, officiated and burial was in Oak Grove cemetery.
Surviving are the husband; one son, Evart Whitesides of Clinchfield; one grandchild; three brothers, Harold Whitesides of Ruth, Jimmy Whitesides of Chimney Rock and Zack Whitesides of Clinchfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Will Noblitt of the Montford Cove section.
