I know this is not what you are looking for, but I am posting it since it is connected to Roy Warren Honeycutt.

Clarence D. “Donnie” Honeycutt

Clarence D. “Donnie” Honeycutt, age 50 of Marion passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Honeycutt was born in McDowell County on January 18, 1954 and was the son of the late Roy W. Honeycutt and Josephine Raines Honeycutt. He formerly was employed by Laird Packaging. He was a loving Christian husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Honeycutt is survived by his wife, Christie Davis Honeycutt of the home; two children, Jesse D. Honeycutt and his wife Misty of Marion and Nick Honeycutt, also of Marion; one granddaughter, Sierra; one sister, Mrs. Chris Brown of Marion; and one brother, Eugene Honeycutt, also of Marion.

Services were held on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at 3 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel with the Rev. Steve Durham officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Entombment was in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society 120 Executive Park, Asheville, NC 28801 or Hospice of McDowell County 218 Logan St. Marion, NC 28752. Amanda Walker Davis, age 74, of Marion, died Thursday, November 28, 2002 at Autumn Care of Marion. A native of McDowell County, she was born on March 26, 1928 to the late Mack Farlin Walker and Mary Jane Hoyle Walker. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Her husband, Walter Davis, preceded her in death.

Surviving are four children, Haskel Davis of Lincolnton, Christle D. Honeycutt of Marion, Dallas L. Davis of Marion and Glenda G. Gouge of Marion; two brothers, David Walker and Clifford Walker, both of Virginia; three sisters, Pernie Sherlin, Mary Sue Willis and Ruth Mace, all of Marion; ten grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Patty Teague, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at McDowell Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at 120 Executive Park, Asheville, NC 28801. A memorial register is available online under “Obituaries” at www.westmorelandfuneral.com. Westmoreland Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
