I came across this post and saw some names I had heard my parents talk about.
Judd and Desty Sellers lived in Ashford, North Carolina. Their home was located near the little country church. My mother's family (Wiseman) was located about a quarter of a mile from the Sellers home, which was on the Swofford Road and the Wisemans home on Hwy US 221.
Thier daughter Maude m Sewell Scott. He worked for Campbell Lime Quarry there in Ashford. Mr. Scott was a good man, well liked in the community. He and the family owned property in Ashford behind the Brown property at the foot of Huneycutt Mountain, just across the RR tracts. They were living at this residence in 1946.
