I am researching some events that took place in North Carolina in the year 1927. One person who plays a role in the story is Edwin B. Bridges, an attorney from Charlotte, NC, who was serving as Commissioner of Pardons for North Carolina. According to a very old Encyclopedia of American Biography, Bridges was born in 1894 in Salem, VA, and died in Charlotte in 1936. I would like to hear from anyone with further information on Edwin B. Bridges.
