I'm not a Robinson researcher, but did some checking. The only person who fits this profile for Mary Robinson is noted in a family tree as: 3 [3] Cyrus Alexander ALLEN II b: 14 Nov 1844 in Mecklenburg County, NC. d: 26 May 1910 in Gastonia, NC. Military service: Enlisted at age 19 in the Confederate Army, Company A, 11th Regiment, NC Troops. ............ +[4] Mary Elisa ROBINSON b: 01 May 1850 d: 13 Jun 1887 in Mecklenberg County, NC In the 1870 census for Mecklenburg Co., NC, Mallard Creek, Mary (her age fits to be the Mary Elisa you need): Head - ROBINSON, William, age 54, farmer, b. NC Robinson, William, age 23, b. NC Robinson, Mary, age 19, b. NC Robinson, Sarah, age 17, b. NC In the 1860 census, Mecklenburg Co., NC: W.H. Robinson, 44, b. NC, farmer (b. about 1816) Sarah Robinson, 37, b. NC (b. about 1823) Elizabeth Robinson, age 15, b. NC William Robinson, 13, b. NC Mary Robinson, 9, b. NC In the 1850 census, Necklenburg Co., NC: W.H. Robinson, 35, b. NC Ann Robinson, 28, b. NC (Is this Sarah Ann, wife?) Jane Robinson, 6, b. NC (Is this Elizabeth Jane, daughter?) William Robinson, 3, b. NC Harriet Chappelle, 17, b. NC (Is this a family member?) If I were researching, I'd follow this lead for W.H. and Sarah (Ann) Robinson. I would suppose that the Will and estate records of W.H. Robinson are available in Mecklenburg County and might name his daughter as Mary (Robinson) Allen. This is speculation without any documents right now. Hope it helps. Notify Administrator about this message?
