Interested in data for the family of Robert Phillips, son of Joel Phillips of Lancaster Co., SC. Robert Phillips, b. 1822 in Lancaster District, SC is listed in the 1850 US Census for Lancaster District, SC, wife Mary and and 3 children. In 1870 US CENSUS he is found in Mecklenburg, with wife (most likely 2nd) Nancy, and the following children: Amanda, Mary Ann, Francis (believe children from 1st marriage), William, Susan, Sarah, George, Laura, Lee, John and Mary. Would greatly appreciate a member of this family who has knowledge of this family to contact me. It constitutes a large segment of the Phillips family for the branch of Joel Phillips, half-brother to Robert Phillips of Lancaster County, SC b. 1786.
