I am searching for any information on John William Neal and his wife Jane Johnston/John Moore. They married about 1845 or 1846 in North Carolina. John was born about 1815 in North Carolina and died before 9 Jan 1876. Jane was born about 1827 and died August 4, 1862.
John W. and Jane had the following children:
1. George Alexander Neal (m. Letha Radden) b. 18 Sep 1847 in Mecklenburg County, NC and d. 5 Jan 1877 in Mecklenburg County, NC; bur. Paw Creek Cemetery
2. Rosannah Neal (m. James O. Sanford) b. 1 Jan 1849 in Mecklenburg County, NC and d. 6 Jun 1901 in Mecklenburg County, NC; bur. Paw Creek Cemetery
3. William Colubus Neal (m. Violet Hoover) b. 21 Dec 1850 in Mecklenburg County, NC and d. 2 Jun 1920 in Mecklenburg County, NC; bur. Paw Creek Cemetery
4. John Henry Neal (m. Hannah S. Wingate) b. 19 Jun 1853 in Mecklenburg County, NC and d. 8 Oct 1829 in Bowie County, Texas; bur. Ringwood Cemetery
5. Stanhope B. Neal b. about 1855 in Mecklenburg County, NC and did not appear on census records after 1870.
6. Sarah Neal b. about 1857 in Mecklenburg County, NC and did not appear on census records after 1870.
I am looking for anything that family members may have proving that John William Neal married Jane Moore, and that Jane Moore was the daughter of John Moore and Jane Reid of Lincoln County, NC. I am also hoping to find the parentage of John William Neal.
Any help would be appreciated. I have a lot of information about this family that I would be willing to share.
