Jeff,

This is great news. I am so glad this information is helpful to someone. As a genealogist I know how important a Family Bible is in doing research. I read your information but I don't see the connection with Barnett or Fite which is my husband's Mother and Grandmother and where the Bible came from. It is very old and brittle. That is why I went through it one time and wrote all the info down I could find then closed it up and put in the cedar chest for safe keeping. In the Bible there is mention of a D.W. Barnett which I found out later was David Winslow Barnett and he married a Prudence Steele. The Christenbury/Ferrell line comes in on the Fite side of the family. I have quite a lot on the Fite line but very little on Barnett. Still a lot of unanswered questions. Would be glad to share my info with you and help any way I can in your research. You can e-mail me at STR@doglover.com and we can talk further.

Doris
