Seeking information on George W. White born abt. 1814 in Tennessee and married to Sarah W. born North Carolina. In the 1860 Census George W. White, Sarah W. and their three childen are found in Fayette Co., Texas. The family lives in close proxmity to James Milton White born in 1840, Memphis, Tennessee and is single living alone. Is George an older brother or could he be James's father? Sarah not old enough to be James's mother--wonder if this could be second wife? There is a second George W. White who marries in 1856 to Annie Elizabeth Pridgen/Newton in Gonzales, Texas.. They lived in Hopkins, Texas. James Milton White marries Mary Ann Stewart born Texas in 1864 in Gonzales Co., Texas. James and Mary are later found in Fayette Co., Texas where they lived and raised a large famly.
