Dear Thomas, thanks for the advice on how to get through the brick wall. I had found the 1880 census record but I am not sure its THE Geroge I am looking for. The DOB is right but I found a few other Georges in NC that could be the right guy too.That 1890 census record loss has caused me more trouble over the years!
I am going to try and figure out who ALL George's children are (using your death cert. idea) and see if I can link him up that way.Thanks for the idea!
