I'm trying to find the family of PFC Roy W. Jones, ASN: 33858336, 311th Infantry Regiment, 78th Infantry Division. PFC Roy W. Jones was KIA on April 11, 1945.
PFC Jones was born September 15, 1921. According to the Individual Deceased Personnel File his home address was Newport News, VA. However, listed as emergency address and beneficiary is his wife Virginia Maude Jones (Wilmouth). Also listed as beneficiary is his mother Penny Jones, at that time living in Mt. Olive, NC (on Rt. 4).
PFC Roy W. Jones entered the service from Richmond, VA on August 10, 1944.
PFC Jones is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery and his grave is adopted. The adoptive family would like to get in touch with the Jones family.
