While looking thru One World Tree, I found info regarding an adoption of Noah W. Hemby by Noah B. Hemby in North Carolina.
Family information about Noah W.'s natural parents aren't very clear (when it comes to dates or places of origin).
Noah's mother was said to be: Francisca Naval. Her father was Nanstacio Naval & mother as Micaela Pascual or Ciriaca Pascual. Their parents were: Doroteo Pascual and Crisanta Gonzales.
Noah's father was named Gnu Aughinbaugh, but I just don't believe this is true. I almost feel as though he was a "go between" the mother and adoptive parents.
I am sure Francisca Naval and family lived in Puerto Rico. They are listed in that region in a census of Puerto Rico.
I believe there was a "cover up" to protect Noah W. Hemby and his family, but time has elapsed, and I really would like to KNOW information that is accurate to fill in my family tree.
