I am searching for information that might lead to finding the family of one Torrance P. White from Polke County in North Carolina. He was with the 634th Tank Destroyer Battalion during WWII and was killed in action near Paderborn, Germany on March 30, 1945. He is buried in Margraten Cemetery in the Netherlands and I am helping the man who recently adopted his grave in the hopes of connecting him with Torrance's family. If anyone has any information about Torrance, his family or any information about his life, military service and/or his death, please contact me. I am particularly looking for any newspaper articles that mention him or his family, etc.. THANK YOU!
