I thought I'd post my Bringle pedigree in the hopes that it could help someone else's research. I have descendancy data for quite a number of people listed here who are not my direct ancestors, but won't post it all now because that's just too much typing for one day:

At this point in time I'm fairly comfortable believing that Solomon Bringle's father was Christian Bringle, born 21 Apr 1777 in Rowan, North Carolina, USA, and died about 1840 in Indiana, USA . While I have yet to see Solomon listed anywhere on the internet as a son of Christian Bringle, Solomon's birthdate fits into a gap of Christian's known children. Also, Christian had among his children a son named Absalom & a son named Casper. In the memoirs of Arthur Sherman Bringle it is mentioned that Solomon had two brothers, Absalom & Casper, who headed West with him, with the brothers eventually finding their own destinies. Absalom Bringle went on to Oregon where he settled. It is highly believable by me that Solomon is Christian Bringle's son, and a brother to Absalom & Casper.
Christian Bringle's father was Johann Casper Bringle, born: 1751 Rowan Co, NC, died 14 Feb 1837 Rowan Co, NC.
I'll stop here with the pedigree because the lines of Christian & Johann Casper are fairly well spread across the internet in various genealogical databases & personal webpages. I hope this is helpful to someone!
