I'm looking for any and all connections to my GGG Grandfather, James Childs. My records indicate he was born in 1786, married in 1804 to Sarah (no last name) in Anson, North Carolina. My records indicate they had 5 children: John, James Jr., Elizabeth, Sara Ann, and Paltha. John Childs, my GG Grandfather, born 1813, married Amanda Hill b. 1818, and they had 12 children: Dollie, Ora, Poe, James E., Virginia A., Hay G., Matt, Babe Hannah, Billy, Sallie E., Charles Spurgeon, and George Beauregard Childs. James E. Childs is my Great-grandfather, born 1840 and married Sarah Ann Crumbley in 1866.
Much more data is available just as much more is desired. My thanks in advance to any persons, related or otherwise, who can share additional information on James Childs.
