John Gallimore (b ca 1731 or bef)

Has anyone searched through the old court records for Granville North Carolina and found any information on the early John Gallimore? I believe he is the same John Gallimore that shows up on the 1752 Lunenburg VA tax list (b ca 1731 or bef.), then is soldiering in Capt John Sallie's company of the Granville regiment, showing up on the Granville tax lists from 1755-1757. There is a suit brought against the ESTATE of John Gallimore by William Moore in 1758, so assume that older John Gallimore is deceased. Has anyone seen those estate papers? Then on the 1761 tax list, listed under Robert Boyd is a John Gallimore. Could this be a son of the deceased John? There is also a John Gallimore listed on the 1762, 1763, 1764, 1769 tax list for Granville(b ca 1741), have assumed he was the John Gallimore listed under Robert Boyd in 1761.
In Capt. Sallie's regiment list I have found a few connections to the Gallimore name, the William Moore who is suing the estate of John Gallimore, and a James Knott, who listed a daughter Elizabeth Gallimore in his will dated 1781.
