Garland Mystery (Who was the father?)-North Carolina

I have come across a Garland family mystery. My GGGGrandfather was Jasper Wilson who was married to Caroline Jarrett Garland. They are from NC. Caroline's first husband was Isaac Harvey Garland B. 1838 D. 1864. They had 4 children Charles b.1859, Hester b.1862, Lewis b. 1864, Celia b.1868) I have seen messages posted that say Isaac disappeared with his brother Lewis Garland during the Civil War in the battle of Chicamauga. His death date listed there is Sept. 1863. They were never heard from after the battle. I also saw a posting that he may have gone MIA in VA. I also saw a posting that put his death between 1864-1866. If this is the case who is Celia Garlands father? She is listed as being born in 1868. In the 1870 census Caroline is listed only with her children, then in the 1880 census she is with Jasper Wilson in Mitchell, NC they later move to Cades Cove, TN. Just a question for the Garland's from this line.
