My ancestor Sarah Blake (1770-1848) married William Hall. Sarah was daughter of William Blake(d.1798) and his first wife, name unknown but possibly Chambers. A 1933 book indicated Sarah was from the Wilmington, NC area and that William Hall was from NC. William Blake married 2nd in 1780 in Wake Co., NC and later moved to Elbert Co., GA with all of his children by first wife and 2nd wife Lucy Allen Mobley. Since the oldest child of William Blake was John Blake, born in Jan 1766, the first marriage of William Blake probably took place in 1765. My e-mail: yonahdells@alltel.net
