This may be of help, if not, then if ma me of interest to you.

There is a Presbyterian Church near Ivanhoe that a Thomas Corbett and Thomas Devane donated land in 1740 for the purpose of worship. Your man most likely is related to this Thomas Corbett. I can Email to you pictures of the church, and of the plaque that states the land was donated for the puorpose of worship, if you would like them.
