Researching the family of NC ARW Private Michael GRIFFIN.

In 1774 a Michael GRIFFIN petitioned for land grant in St. Paul's Parish, Georgia. This Michael GRIFFIN married Nancy Ann WELDON, daughter of Jacob WELDON, and the children of this marriage lived in Columbia County, Georgia, and in Edgefield District, South Carolina before moving westward....

Interest in family, parents, siblings and migration of these individual Michael GRIFFIN--they may be the same or not related at all....

Interested in learning more about the Loyalists and their history in this Royal NC Regiment, out of Hillsborough, and in Wilmington, North Carolina....
