Bill-Thank you so much for your help. It does seem the more pieces of the puzzle you have, the more confusing it becomes. In reading Thomas' will, I noticed there were Barbour (Barber) grandchildren. Daniel's daughter, Mary was married to a John L. Barbour (Barber), and was his widow. She married my great great grandfather, Isaac Sample. In looking at the records for Holmes Co. Miss., there is a Mary that appears to be the wife of Daniel, and a daughter, Mary H. Dulany Barbour Sample. Could Mary H. have married her first cousin? This is my first fumbling with my family genealogy and any tips you can shed will be greatly appreicated. Morgan Sample Blasingame
