JANE WATTS married JOHN SIMPSON about 1721 in NC. She was born about 1702, I believe in NC. Their son WILLIAM SIMPSON IV was born about 1722, perhaps Chowan,NC. William married ANN DUDLEY (Daughter of EDWARD DUDLEY) about 1746, Can anyone tell me who the heck her parents were ??? I believe this is them -they were witness to the following will - 1774 - DUDLEY, CHRISTOPHER. Onslow County. March 19, 1744-1745. February 26, 1746. Sons: EDWARD, WILLIAM, THOMAS and CHRISTOPHER DUDLEY (land on “the River”). Grandsons: GEORGE (son of EDWARD) and CHRISTOPHER (son of THOMAS) DUDLEY. Daughter: ANN HOUSTON (one negro). Other negroes bequeathed to wife and sons. Wife and Executrix: MARY. Executor: JOHN STARKEY. Witnesses: JANE SIMPSON, JOHN SIMPSON, MARY TROTT. Proven before GAB. JOHNSTON. Any ideas as to which family to research even would be great!! Thanks for any help or leads - - Samantha CHRISTOPHER DUDLEY was father to EDWARD DUDLEY, who may have married someone Starkey - their children were George, Mary, Ann & Hanna DUDLEY who I cannot find anything on either. Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks again, Sam Notify Administrator about this message?
