Hello, we are interested in any info someone would like to share on the Martin-Green line 1860 backwards. We believe that our Martins lived near the New River as it juts out to the ocean, were part Indian, and migrated to Texas after 1870. We have stories of the Civil War ( 4 pages), a gunboat stuck in the river, oystering, Yankee army encampment, etc. Our William and Robert Martin may be listed in Onslow, Stump Sound, NC.
