I am searching for information on My Davis/Britton family and I'm hoping someone could help me. My 5th Grt Grandfather Benjamin Davis Sr. married a Mary Britton around 1780-1783 in N.C. place unknown. They had the following children:
Mary E. Davis
Elizabeth Davis
Benjamin Davis Jr. b. around 1781(This is my 4th Grt Grandfather).
Benjamin Davis' father was the Rev. Elnathan Davis of Chatham County, N.C.
I am looking for who are Mary Britton's parents, where was she born and from and where did her and Benjamin Davis Sr married? If anyone has any information on this I would be very greatful if you could help me with this.
