Peter F Perry’s 1842 Orange Co. NC Will

Peter F Perry (1781 - 1843) of Chatham and Orange Co. NC wrote his Orange Co. will in 1842 and died in 1843. Ruth Herndon Shields, "Abstracts of Wills Recorded in Orange County, North Carolina 1800-1850" (p. 198), gives the following abstract of his will:

Will Book F, p. 155 Will dated 25 April 1842, proved May Court 1843.
PETER F. PERRY wife: Patty
"My three sons Samuel, William, Persullas (?)" $100 each.
"My five sons Manly Murphy Peter Henry John A. Mangum Edward Norris" (no punctuation) "all my land."
Executors: son William Perry and George Johnston.
Witnesses: Nathaniel Newlin, Samuel Perry.

The first two sons, Samuel and William, are recognized as sons by his first wife, Priscilla Baldwin, whom he married about 1802 in Chatham Co. NC, and the final five sons were by Martha “Patsey” Lindsey, with whom he had an Orange Co. Marriage Bond dated 3 Aug 1829. The full names of Patty’s sons were: Manly Mebane, Murphy Monroe, Peter Kerney [not Peter Henry as in Shields transcription], John A. Magnum, and Edward Norris Perry. All of Patty’s sons were under 13 when Peter wrote his will.

In addition to the five sons, Patty had three daughters who were under 13, and show up as counts in Peter’s 1840 Census record in Orange Co. It seems strange that the will made no provisions for them. The young girls were Adeline, Nancy, and Isabella.

I have been unable to identify the other older son, transcribed by Shields as “Persullas (?)”. By one account, Peter had a son Sylvanus W or Silvan W Perry, born 1813, died Christmas day 1846, buried at Mt. Vernon Methodist Church in Chatham Co. But it seems unlikely that Shields could have mistaken Sylvanus for Persullas in Peter F Perry’s recorded will. The original of the will is in the N.C. State Archives in Raleigh, but I live far away, and haven’t ordered a copy of the will. Can anyone help me out on what the will actually says?
