Dear Rae Jean,

This Henry T. Paul, was the brother to my great, great, grandmother Elizabeth "Bettie" Paul who married Ozias Gaskins.

Old Henry T. Paul, left his family to join the Santicified Cult Group. (this was not a religious entity.) He was married at least three or four times if I'm not mistaken.

Our dear friend, Bud Daniels, has done a lot of thorough research on Henry T. Paul and can fill in with lots more detail and accuracy.

This is what I do know. (All of this information was shared with me by Bud Daniels and comes from his own personal research.)

From: The William Timothy Paul family bible: We know that Henry T. Paul was born on March 3, 1852 in North Carolina. He first married Pency Hudnell on November 5, 1874 in the home of Noah West residence township #3, Pamlico Co., NC. Pency Hudnell was the daughter of Ebenezar Hudnell and his wife Elizabeth. Henry Paul married (2) Rebecca J. Dixon on December 25, 1892 in the home of William Dixon residence, township #1, Pamlico Co., NC, daughter of William Dixon and Margaret Scott. She was born abt. 1856 and died abt. 1899. He married (3) Florence Estelle Rowe, on January 30, 1895 in P.D. Hardy residence, township# 5, Pamlico Co.,NC. Florence Rowe, was the daughter of Tuten Rowe and Mary Aldridge.

Henry T. Paul, purchased land from Elijah Dixon, except two houses belonging to Noah and Andrew Dixon. Deed bk.# 2, pg. # 23. Date of deed: November 26 1874; Pamlico Co., N.C.

I have descendants of this line for the next 5 -6 generations if you are interested.

I hope some of this is helpful.

Blessings,
Suzy Dixon Bennett
