In the 1880 census there is a James B Corbett witha brother named Kinchen D Corbett who was born about 1857...in my Corbett line from Pitt County, my GGgrandfather, Kinchen Corbett, had a brother named Allen who had a son named Kinchen, born 1857 in Falkland, Pitt Co., NC....trying to find if there is a connection, maybe this is the same person....Allen had a daughter named Mary Frances "Fannie" who lived with my GGrandfather, John Henry Jenkins, who married Mary Frances Corbett, the daughter of Kinchen and Mary Winder Hays Corbett...the two Corbett girls shared the same name!...I don't have any information about Kinchen D Corbett or if Allen and Betsy, his wife, had any other children other than Kinchen and Fannie....any help out there....
