Hi,

Looking for any African American Colbert who may have lived in Pender County or had ancestors who did during thelater half of the 19th century. My Great Great Grandmother (Rebecca) was born in this county. I do not know how long her family lived there. Her father was Isaac (Isaiah) and her mother was Elizabeth. Rebecca was born about 1880 and had a sister by the name of Irene. Rebecca married Elijah Godbolt and gave birth to a son in Wilmington NC.
