Sandra, John Guyer left a will, which was probated in Perquimans Co. in 1804, according to the abstract in Raymond Winslow's Perquimans Co. Wills, 1761-1864. The will is in Book E, page 215. John's wife, Abigail, his wife's son, John Perisho, and said son's deceased grandmother Sarah Morris are mentioned in the will. The same book has a will for John Morris, probated in 1774, which mentions John's wife Sarah, sons Joseph and John, and brother Cornelius. This will is in Book C, page 164, 167. I found this deed abstract on http://donnac55.tripod.com/thomasweeksfamilywebsite/id37.html [Perquimans County, NC., Deed Book I, No. 462] John Guyer of Perquimans and Abagail his wife, for 25 pounds paid by John Winslow, (son of Joseph) of same ... sold 25 acres part of a Pat' to John Perrishoe, Feb 18, 1775. John and Abigail Guyer. Sarah Morris. Seal. 1 day 7 mo. 1785. Test' John Winslow, Simon Lilly, Silas Draper. It might be that Abigail was actually a Perisho, rather than an Morris, or was married to one before her Guyer marriage. Leah Notify Administrator about this message?
