I'm not researching the Denman name, but I'm interested in Perquimans County, have you seen "The History of Perquimans County" by Mrs Watson Winslow? It doesn't have the census/Tax lists for Charles & Christopher but it does have Charles listed in 9 deeds (only 4 are actual deed transactions by him). There were no Denman marriages listed, however under the Petitions p. 286
"Denman, Christopher, 'dead without a will, Charles Moor nearest kin' for Admix. (no date)."
"Denman, Rebecca, for Admix on Est of her husband Charles Denman. July 1737"
Do you want the 4 deed transactions?
