I'm writing for any information on my Watson line. I've been researching my family history since the 1970s and I'm unable to find any information about the Watsons beyond their birth and marriage dates.
William Watson (born abt. 1804 N.C.-died ?) married first a Sarah H. Tilman on 18 Jul 1823 in Person Co., NC. Then he married Nancy Ashly on 13 Dec 1836 in the same location.
His son, George Washington Watson married Desdemona Yarbrough on 18 Mar 1867, also in Person Co., N.C.
George W. Watson - born 04 Mar 1848 in Person Co., NC-died 27 Jun 1921 in Lone Oak, Hunt Co., Texas
Desdemona Yarbrough - born 05 Dec 1848 N.C.-died 24 Mar 1924 Lone Oak, Hunt Co., Texas
Around that same time period, there was an Elijah and John Watson, either of whom might be William Watson's father.
