The Annual REUNION of descendants of JAMES & PHOEBE RIMMER of Person County, North Carolina USA will be held Saturday, July 28th, 2007. Cousins tracing relations to the 1700s attend -- from NC, SC, TN, GA, AR, VA, MS, the UK. Fellowship, singing, prayer, mingling & meeting, and presentations will precede and follow a delicious noon meal. Prizes for oldest, youngest, and furthrest traveled are awarded. Family photo albums, family tree CDs, binders, and books, Rimmer cookbooks, and Coats of Arms are available for viewing and sale.

Again hosting are descendants of Elizabeth Blalock & Samuel Rimmer, Sr. (1786-1861), who was James & Phoebe's sixth child. Presiding is reunion founder Buford Rimmer. Arrive starting 10:30. Meal at noon. Conclude 4:30. Location is the Fellowship Hall, First Baptist Church, 815 Davie Street in Statesville, NC.

This year's program includes a history presentation "Lands of the Rimmers: How the Vikings Invaded Arkansas" by researcher Ray Miles Rimmer.

No covered dish! Again, this year's catered meal requires pre-registration, but no costs or fees.
