Evans Company, 1782 muster/notes

Looking for information on the service of members of Evans Company, 1782-1783. I am including here a list of soldiers who were associated with this company along with additional notes on a few. It seems that most of the men were from Pitt County, though my own ancestor Jesse Pollock was from Onslow and Jones and had kinsfolk in Duplin, Craven and surrounding counties.

Who was Captain Evans? Was this unit a part of the Newbern District Militia?
