SALTER FAMILY OF NC

Some have stated the Susannah White buried at Grimesland near the Grimes Plantation was sister of Blackbeard.
This Susannah died 1803, age 48. This places her birth in 1755. Blackbeard died off the NC coast about 1720. So this Susannah was not his sister.
Now my opinion. This cemetery where Susannah is buried is
probable on former Salter property. I found a note stating an Edward Salter had a daughter Susannah who married a White. This Susannah would fit that age range.
Still trying to document this statement.
A very early survey of this site stated there were many more unmarked graves.

White-Bowen Cemetery, Grimesland Bridge Road, Grimesland, NC NOTE: This area was the site of Salter land, known as Salter's Ferry. Feel Susanna was a Salter.
Susanna White d. Jan 18, 1803 Age 48
Also buried here is:
Sally Bowen, w/o Dr. Tennent Bowen d. Dec 21, 1800 (Was she a relative of Susanna White?)
