To get a copy of a birth or death certificate, in Randolph County, you need to request in writing to the following:
Randolph Co., Register of Deeds
158 Worth St.
Asheboro, NC 27203

Send 50 cents and a self addressed stamped envelope.

A certified certificate is $10.00.

Remember North Carolina only began keeping vital statistics around 1913, although some previous records have survived.
