Daniel Thayer of Trinity and Tabernacle Twp not Gaddis connection

Daniel Thayer was born abt 1800 and died after 1870. He was the son of James and Nancy Thayer. The family lived in southwestern Randolph County, Trinity and Tabernacle Twp during the 1800s. There is no record of Daniel having married, though he had a free black family living with him in 1840. He apparently was associated with several court actions and was the executor for several estates such as that for John Gaddis. His name appears on several deeds. I am seeking any information about him, his family if there was one, where and when he died, where he was buried, etc.
