Guesstimates run from 1765 to 1775 for Joshua, Add 2 years for
William, Jr. It has been my opinion that Joshua saw RevWar Service. If that is correct, then 1865 would serve best. If he died before 1850 Census, then anywhere along the spread would be reasonable.Remember it was the year 1805 that William, Sr.started to divide the 450 acres between the 2 and Wm, Jr. bought out Joshua. There almost had to be a goodly bit of maturity for Wm, Jr's position to do the buy-out.
I have sympathy for your hunt. If William, Jr. proves out for you, I would appreciate hearing of it. pete coker
