Help! John Elijah Rooker b. ca 1824 and married Letty Hunt 1845 in Rutherford C. NC. Their children were Ellen, Rebecca, William and George. This family resided in NC until the early 1850's when John moved his family to MO and decided to go to Colorado to prospect. John died in CO
in the mid 1850's.
This family should appear somewhere in the 1850 Federal Census in North Carolina. Maybe they were residing with a relative.
If anyone has any information on this family, John and Letty's marriage bond or an estate settlement of John's property mentioning the children or a will or baptismal or church records and will share, I would pay for the information and appreciate any help.
