De Land, IL (often spelt Deland) is in Piatt County.

1920 census index, although I can't get the full info, appears to show in Goose Creek, Piatt County:
Loren L. Perkins, b. about 1895
Ada, b. about 1897
Marion D, b. about 1918 (Dale?)
Forest, b. about 1919 (Forrest?)

In 1930, Loren, Marion D and Forest appear to be living together in Ohio.

(You can ask on the recordlookups forum for the full census info, or see if your library has access to Ancestry).

http://www.ilsos.gov/GenealogyMWeb/idphdeathsrch.html shows that an Addie Perkins died in Jan 17 1921 in Goose Creek township, IL - this could be his mother.
