Hi Jenna: yes, a later census record indicated that both the parents of Carrie Lee were born in Norway. Carrie's death certificate gave the name of her father as Thomas Lee, but no name for her mother.

A book published back in 1984 listed the people of Bottineau Co, ND from 1884 to 1984 and gave the name of Thomas Lee and Sena Kvamme on p. 418. I have not been able to get any information from the book about these two individuals. These may have been her parents, but I do not know.

There is a Carrie Lee about age 25 listed in St. Paul, MN in the 1910 census, but I am not sure if this is our Carrie or not. Carrie Lee married Carl Hanson on August 3, 1912 in Minot, ND. The Hanson family did have relatives in Clearwater, MN and Carl and Carrie were living there at the time of the 1920 census. I just cannot nail down the family of Carrie Lee.

Thank you, Leon
