- I see someone has given you the 1906 Canada census here, as well as the family coming back into the US in 1910. If you look at the original image of the Canada census, you'll see it says they emigrated in 1904.
Sam Olson/Olsen appears to have possibly stayed in Canada - there's a Sam Olsen with wife Emma in the 1911 census (he born Nov 1885 in the US, immigrated 1905).
You can see the original at www.automatedgenealogy.com - Sam Olson is also in the Strathcona District, aged 20, b. US, came to Canada in 1904.
