Looking for Brays of North Dakota. Would like to connect with ANYONE researching this line! This family lived around Dickinson ND.
Joseph Bray b. England. Immigrated to North Dakota bef 1885. (he's in the 1885 Dakota Territory census) Married Rosa Shiman 8 Nov 1890
Children: Fanny, Joseph Jr.(my direct line), Rose, Annie, Thomas, Alice, Minnie, William, John, Phillip & Maggie.
Joseph Jr b. 10 Jun 1892 - m. Anna Kralicek 6 Feb 1915.
Children: Lydia, Edwin, Otto, Laudie, Joseph, Raymond (my father), Evelyn and Earl.
I have quite a bit of information on the last generation, but would like to connect with anyone researching this line that may have info on the earlier generations.
I was told that Joseph Sr immigrated from England, possibly Leeds or Pudsey area. I have not been able to confirm that information as I have found no immigration record for him anywhere.
The 1885 Dakota Territory [Stark County] Census lists - Joseph Bray, Age: 35, Occ: hunter, Nativity: England.
