need help in eligin & langdon cavalier ND

In the 1920 census I find one Louise Kelley listed as a servant in Elgin Calvalier with no husband in the census. In the 1930 census Langdon, Cavalier I find Louise Kelley listed as a servant at which appears to be a hotel again no husband. She liste herself married for 17 years. Based on her age she would have married at 17 about 1913.

Could anyone give me some suggestion on this. Where would the husband be. I unfortunately don't have a name for him yet.
