Researching emigration to the United States from Canach in Luxembourg
Who has genealogical, biographical or documentary information on the following person(s)?
RONKAR Henry, born in Canach, Luxembourg, 4 Jan 1874, emigrated 15 Feb 1890 from Antwerp on ship “Westernland” heading to David City, Butler Co., NE. In 1899 he married in Bellwood, NE Susan SCHMIT. Ronkar died in David City 27 Dec 1942.
RONKAR Michael junior, born in Canach, Luxembourg, aged 19 years, arrived in New York on ship “Gascogne” 26 Mar 1901, heading for David City.
With him was an older brother
RONKAR Michael, aged 23 years. He settled in Octavia , Butler Co. NE. He was back visiting in Canach in December 1914. He went back to Nebraska on ship “Rooterdam” arriving NY 19 Jan 1915.
