Marie's maiden name was Loupar (Louparova). She was married in Bohemia and her husband (Jan Musil) died in the old country before 1874 when Marie came to the U.S. with her son Vaclav (my g-g-grandfather) and his family and her daughter, whose name was also Marie. The daughter Marie Musil married Joseph Stepan, but they were married in Omaha. None of Vaclav's children married until they left Butler County (too young). The only Saunders County connection that I am aware of is that Vaclav had a daughter Albertina who is listed on a Saunders County baptismal record, born in 1877. I need to check churches in that area. Albertina is not listed on the 1880 census, so must have died quite young. I didn't find her in a Sauders County cemetery, or in any of the Butler County cemeteries near Linwood where they lived. I don't know much more about this family.
