There is only one Kennard mentioned in this book. It is John S. Kennard, born 1850 in Huron Co. Ontario, Canada, who moved to Nebraska in 1878. The short entry for him mentions his wife, Elizabeth C. Given (b. 1858 in West Virginia), and the fact that he had five children. The children are not listed in the entry, but there is a photo of the family from 1902, that has 4 children in it: Bessie, Maude, Arthur, Effie.
