I recently visited the abandoned Fish Creek Cemetery in Greeley County near Scotia. Family
tales had it that my great grandmother Mary Hetzler is buried there. We
found her grave which dates to November 2, 1900. We were astounded to see that
someone apparently takes occasional care of the grave. I know nothing about
Mary Hetzler, but would deduct from the grave that I may have relatives in
the Scotia area. I would greatly appreciate any information about her.
