Hi;
I live about 45 miles south of Greeley. There is also a town by the name of Spalding just north of Greeley. Anyway I am related to the Spaldings and as you noticed the spelling is a little different. Spaldings sometimes spelled their names with and without a "U"
E mail Marti Spalding(martis@netway.com) See if she may be able to help you out. My Spaldings all came from KY. but I do have family from around Greeley County, but the name is not Spalding.
Happy Hunting and let me know if all works out for you.
MJ
