Hi;
I live in Grand Island,Ne which is about sixty miles south of Spalding. My father was born and raised in Spalding and still have a lot of relatives still living in Spalding,as a matter of fact Spalding was named after a relative on my mother side of the family.
Anyway there are a hundred and one Pfeifers in Spalding and here in Grand Island. They are all related, if not all most of them.
Go to your local library and look up in the Nebraska phone book For Grand Island. It will have Grand Island,Hastings and Kearney on the front. Spalding is listed in this book. It would be easier for you to copy the pages out of the book than have me type them. You could also go to the counties in genforum (Greeley)
Anyway if you contact Clarence Pfeifer at 3285 Woodridge Blvd, Grand Island,Ne 68801 or call him at (308)382-0992 he might be able to help you out. He is an older gentelman who I know as well as a lot of his kids. See if he might be able to help you.
Let me know how you come out, you should do pretty good if you get to the phone book as well as Cclarence.
